Motor Valves
These Motorised butterfly valves are intended to be used as the primary control element in a temperature or flow control system. Available in both tri-state digital (opening, stopped, closing) or analogue (4-20mA) versions, they are compatible with practically any control instrument. The nominal travel time is 60 seconds for full stroke but we can supply various alternative speeds if required. The actuator can be very simply manually overridden for maintenance purposes and the entire actuator can be removed from the valve with only 2 bolts to be removed. The valve body, being of a wafer type design, is designed to be clamped between two flanges. In the event of a problem, the valve can be easily removed with very little disruption to the surrounding pipework.
This range is intended for use with a flow at ambient temperature. We can supply high temperature versions for use with pre heated air for example. Contact our sales team for details.

Control Inputs The GT31 actuator is supplied for use with a ‘Raise Lower’ valve drive output as found as an option on most temperature controllers. The actuator MUST not be connected in parallel with any other device as the extra load adversely effects the motor. A special version with an analogue 4-20mA drive input is available. The valve will drive to a position proportional to the drive signal. |
